How this page is built

This calendar is generated, not written. Every fifteen minutes a builder reads the official Pokémon GO news feed, fetches each new post, and pulls the window out of the post's own words. Nothing here is typed in by hand, and nothing is copied off another fan site.

The news list reaches further than the calendar does. Scopely's own X account posts between articles, so we read that too, and those posts land in the news list.

What the labels mean

• Announced. An official post says so. The event page quotes the sentence the window came from and links back to the post.
• Expected. Generated from the game's weekly cadence, and drawn with a dashed border. Max Monday, Raid Hour and Spotlight Hour repeat reliably enough to be worth showing before Scopely confirms them. They're still a prediction, they're labeled as one, and they vanish the moment a real post covers that slot.
• Listed. Scopely's events calendar carries it. That calendar is where the raid rotations live: which Pokémon is in the five-star slot this week, which Mega is up, which Shadow raid is running, and what Max Battles rotate to on Monday. Those windows are read off it and nothing about them is predicted.
• Scheduled. The game's own configuration file dates it exactly. GO Battle League is the only thing on this calendar that works this way: the rotation ships inside the game with the start and end of every week of the season, so those rows are read rather than predicted.
• Changed. Every official post carries "subject to change", and they do change. When one gets edited after we've parsed it, the row keeps both values and says what moved.

Times

Pokémon GO runs almost everything on your local clock. A 6 PM Spotlight Hour is 6 PM wherever you're standing, so the times here are already right for you. No conversion, no timezone picker. GO Battle League is the one exception, because it rotates on a fixed UTC instant, and those rows say UTC.

Sources

• Events come from the official Pokémon GO feed, parsed post by post. Only an official post can put a dated row on the calendar.
• News marked X is @PokemonGoApp, Scopely's own account, read through a volunteer's automated mirror on Bluesky, because X has no feed anyone can read without paying. It's the same words, one step removed, and we say so rather than passing it off as an article. When one of those posts links to pokemongo.com, the headline here links there instead of to the mirror. A post that only repeats an article we already have doesn't get a row.
• News marked Reddit and Leaked is a datamine thread on r/TheSilphRoad. Somebody read it out of the game's files, Scopely hasn't said it, and it may never happen. Those rows link to the thread and stay off the calendar.
• Stats, moves and every number on a species page come from the game's own data files.
• Artwork is Pokémon HOME renders, resized and served from this domain. A handful of forms exist only inside GO and were never drawn for HOME, so those use the game's own art instead. Armored Mewtwo is the only one today.
• Shiny availability, and where players have found each species, come from the community-maintained table at pogoapi.net, synced on every build.
• We ship no datamined files. Linking to a datamine thread and labeling it as one is a different thing, and that's the only form a leak takes here.
• We scrape no other fan site. Two of them get read on every build purely to check our own work, and the build complains at us when we disagree. Nothing they publish reaches this site.
